Flying into Tampa on Saturday,

Just a friendly heads up from a FL resident - the temps will be pretty low (for us, anyway) on Saturday night, so plan on keeping a jacket or coat ready. It looks like Tampa's forecast 70 degrees Saturday during the day, but dropping to 36 degrees Saturday night, with Sunday at 56 degrees, dropping to 32 degrees Sunday night.

Brrrrr! Don't put your flip flops on quite yet! :)

Thanks for the heads up. We will be packing some warmer clothes for the trip down. It snowed here today with temps falling into the teens this weekend. Forecast for Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel looks much better!:D

It is true it will be chilly upon departure. It is still worth the view on a top deck to see the passage under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge before the ship gets into the Gulf. It really is a sight see how close the clearance is and hear the traffic above. Looking forward to the lower temps here myself.

Yes, we will be on a top deck for passage under the bridge with our jackets on for sure. Ferguson VT posted a link above with some good pics of it.

Cruising on Sunday. A big thanks to everyone here for helping us prepare for our Cruise. Woohoo, we are ready!:)

Suggestion for lunch or dinner on Sat ( if it's not too late) from a Tampa area local. Consider the historic Columbian Restaurant in Ybor City (a section on Tampa where the use to make Cigars). It's a trolley ride away from Channelside (the port area) plus there are historic sites 3-blocks away from the Columbian).
