cdamion Posted February 16, 2012 #26 Share Posted February 16, 2012 I got a call from my PVP this afternoon that the Valor is going to San Juan for the S. Caribbean route. When I looked on 'Manage My Cruises' our 3/10/2013 Valor trip has been removed. John Heald mentioned on facebook that there would be several announcements about ships coming out tomorrow. Perhaps the Victory will be moved to Tampa? Oh well...I am now looking for a different cruise...perhaps Panama Canal Miracle repo. Some very interesting and different itineraries in the works. Anyone else getting calls or seeing cruises disappear when you log in? Ooh. That is good news. I would love to see Valor on the Southern Caribbean route. babyblue78 Posted February 16, 2012 #27 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Aren't they having a hard time selling out the Victory as it is? It seems odd that they would move a nicer ship there, IMO.

spencercoop Posted February 16, 2012 #30 Share Posted February 16, 2012 The schedule for Destiny stops at Jan 26 2013...things are falling into place :) hmm. That's interesting. That could mean two things. I know in 2013 the Destiny is going in for a major drydock. It was scheduled before for over 7 weeks, and then the cruise dates were added back. Or it could mean that the Destiny is going back to San Juan.
spencercoop Posted February 16, 2012 #31 Share Posted February 16, 2012 The schedule for Destiny stops at Jan 26 2013...things are falling into place :) The Valor's schedule now ends at Jan 27 as her last cruise. So the three ships in this announcement must be the Destiny, Victory, and Valor.
Fydlstyx Posted February 16, 2012 #32 Share Posted February 16, 2012 The last Valor trip from Miami is February 3rd I don't understand - we are booked and paid for a cruise on Valor out of Miami in June. Does this mean I have to start all over? Will they auto-refund?

stargazingjess Posted February 16, 2012 #36 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Could the Destiny be going to Europe? When I go to the Fun Ship page, and click the "+" sign by Destiny, it says: Destinations: Bahamas,Caribbean,Transatlantic Home Ports: Miami, FL Pure speculation on my part =)

Fydlstyx Posted February 16, 2012 #38 Share Posted February 16, 2012 I realized that almost as soon as I hit the submit button, and then my internet decided not to stay connected so I could delete or edit my question. :) Thanks, though! I am glad to hear that our cruise won't be affected!

I did a Transatlantic on the Dream in 09. It was in the high 70's the whole way. And that was in November. Also I am sure the prices are going to be very good. DaytonCruiser Posted February 16, 2012 #48 Share Posted February 16, 2012 Looks like Victory will just do 2-5 day cruises out of Miami. So those Valor pax that had their cruise cancelled, will have to find another ship.
