Valor is being relocated

Arizona cruisers

Recommended Posts

I got a call from my PVP this afternoon that the Valor is going to San Juan for the S. Caribbean route. When I looked on 'Manage My Cruises' our 3/10/2013 Valor trip has been removed. John Heald mentioned on facebook that there would be several announcements about ships coming out tomorrow. Perhaps the Victory will be moved to Tampa? Oh well...I am now looking for a different cruise...perhaps Panama Canal Miracle repo. Some very interesting and different itineraries in the works. Anyone else getting calls or seeing cruises disappear when you log in?

Ooh. That is good news. I would love to see Valor on the Southern Caribbean route.

The schedule for Destiny stops at Jan 26 2013...things are falling into place :)

hmm. That's interesting. That could mean two things.

I know in 2013 the Destiny is going in for a major drydock. It was scheduled before for over 7 weeks, and then the cruise dates were added back.

Or it could mean that the Destiny is going back to San Juan.

The Valor's schedule now ends at Jan 27 as her last cruise.

So the three ships in this announcement must be the Destiny, Victory, and Valor.

Now it show the options for Valor are San Juan and Barbados..cant pull anything up just yet. Maybe in a hour or so.

Victory is showing Miami

Could the Destiny be going to Europe?

When I go to the Fun Ship page, and click the "+" sign by Destiny, it says:

Destinations: Bahamas,Caribbean,Transatlantic

Home Ports: Miami, FL

Pure speculation on my part =)

I have heard speculation that the Destiny will be undergoing a major drydock in Europe and then she would operate European cruises after the drydock.

Hmm. I can still only see their original homeports. Can you still see the new homeports?

Hmmm

I see Feb 2013 is a date option for Transatlantic...that is really early to do a TA cruise....

This is way better than waiting on an announcement

So that rumor I heard must have been correct. It looks like the Destiny is going to Europe for her major drydock.

If the ship sales to the south it will be warmer. I did a Transatlantic

on the Dream in 09. It was in the high 70's the whole way. And

that was in November. Also I am sure the prices are going to be

very good.

Hi JP, you still up, checking itineraries?
