French press?

Does anyone know if you can still get French Press in Cagneys? It's a small thing but I really look forward to my caffeine delivery system!

Yes...BUT...I did happen to catch a glance at least once of a waiter pouring coffee out of an ordinary carafe and into a french press carafe, so I wouldn't guarantee that what they're pouring into your cup is always really french press coffee.

Look in the bottom of the press under the filter, if there are grounds there, then it was really a French press pour. If no grounds, that's grounds for a complaint!:D

Yes, we were served French Press coffee in Cagney's (just off the Dawn 2 days ago). As often as not, it was not hot at all and I'd ask for American coffee in an insulated pot.

We had a French Press in Le Bistro on The Epic but not at Cagney's. My husband thought that was the coolest thing he had ever seen!

On the Pearl in Nov, had french pressed every morning. It was great. They always brought it to the table before they pressed it and pressed it in front of us. My husband brought an insulated travel mug and would take a cup with him. If you take a cup with you, it makes great iced coffee in the afternoon. We met a couple who would have their butler bring it down from Cagneys for them in the am.

Several times a day, made it at the table and it was steaming hot!!! Love it!:D

I bought DH a french press coffee maker for Christmas, after our last suite cruise. It is easy to make and the taste is SO much better than regular coffee! Of course, it tastes even better when it is served to you in Cagney's!:D
