danajjj Posted April 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Does anyone have any good suggestions to prevent the shower curtain from sticking to you? yuck!
ga-shel Posted April 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2005 take wooden clothes pins and hang @ 4 accross the bottom, the weight will help stop the flyaway curtain.
springtxbill Posted April 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Don't use it. Just throw a towel down on the floor afterwards to wipe up the water.:)
iluv2bcruising Posted April 19, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2005 I'm not sure how many of the fleet have curtains....we had rounded shower doors on our Voyager cruise....very nice!

erin_cruisers Posted April 19, 2005 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Thanks to reading these boards before our cruise on the Grandeur we were ready for the "fly-away" shower curtain on the Grandeur with the clothes pins trick, but... we may as not even bothered, as SPRINGTXBILL mentions above, 'cause the water went down the drain in the shower, then, up the drain in the middle of the bathroom !! :) :) By the end of the shower, there was all your shower water sloshing about in the washroom. Thank goodness for our stateroom attendant understanding - he kept us in towels by the truckload to keep the floor dry. We took it in stride, and didn't let it bother us. Boy Scout Rule #1 - be prepared! Read these boards! For our VOS cruise in August, we will take a 50' hose and portable shower-head, and shower out on the Balcony! :)
Iamthesea Posted April 19, 2005 #7 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Sounds like our bathroom at home. All the sudden in the last few days, whenever we flush the toilet, we hear these gurgling echos coming from our bathtub. Nothing is coming out, but it sounds scary. I use plastic clothes pins instead of the wooden. They dry quick and don't rot. When the cruise is over, I just pack them back in my "cruise" bag. flagger Posted April 19, 2005 #16 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Just lather yourself up thinking of Phoebe Cates coming out of the pool in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and I guarantee you you won't notice the shower curtain sticking to you.

Well, that *might* work, but only for you guys. She does nothing for me. Maybe I should just substitute her husband, Kevin Kline. Yep! That does it for me! :D
Oma24boys Posted April 19, 2005 #18 Share Posted April 19, 2005 I was at World Market today and they had cute clip-on table cloth holders...the kind that are used to keep tableclothes outside from being blown off. They were quite heavy...could be a possiblity.:p
Spence Posted April 19, 2005 #19 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Are the tub/shower stalls metal or acrylic, fiberglass or paper mache? Will a couple of magnets work?
hstrybuf Posted April 20, 2005 #20 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Hmmm, seems like the doors on our shower were fiberglass or something close to it.
