Do you book for ship or itinerary?

Normally itinerary. There are islands we could go back to over and over like Cozumel, St Thomas, St Maarten and Grand Cayman.
We actually are scheduled in March on the Victory to Southern Carribean that goes to new islands for us like Barbados, St Lucia and St Kitts.

We also are careful about NOT going back to places like Jamaica and Progresso. Not big fans.

But sometimes we also consider departure port if it's somewhere we can drive to from Cinci.

But in the end, we just love cruising and being on the water.

For now, we cruise for the ship. Once I am retired we can concentrate on itinerary, but we live in SW Florida and will go to the same ports over and over again if we can drive to the embarkation port in four hours or less and avoid flying. I don't really mind the flying, it is the packing with flight restrictions that bothers me.
