Private tours Prague/Budapest

We will be taking the Budapest to Prague river cruise on Avalon in May 2012. We have extra time in Budapest and Prague and would like to find local tour guides. If anyone has experience please let us know.

We were in Prague for a few days in December and booked a private guide who was wonderful! We are returning in November and have booked with her again.

Jana Hronkova is recommended by Rick Steves for Prague. Her email is janahronkova@hotmail.com. She is very popular so book her in advance. You will have a great time.

We used Jana Hronkova and absolutely loved her. She is very flexible, takes you to what you want to see. It was like walking around Prague with a friend.

If you book their land package they include a short tour. However, Prague has much to see and we found our private guide added so much to our experience.

Mark, we loved Jana as well. jana wasn't available for caviargal and she referred her to Andrea, and they loved her. I think you would do great with whoever is available, sure a highlight of our trip!!!

We absolutely loved the one hour evening cruise we took on the Danube. Be sure it is after dark.. beautiful photo ops! All of BUD is awesome!
