Mosquitoes in June

Thanks for the info. When we travel to tropical places, we usually soak our hiking clothes, including socks and hat, in Permethrin. It acts as a mosquito repellant and lasts on the clothes through several washings. You can buy it at many sporting goods stores.

 

Then we only need put DEET on our hands, neck, and edges of our face.

 

I guess the hiking clothes are going through some Permetrin soaking once again!

I have the permethrin spray also as I had used it in Costa Rica but found the clothing in an incredible sale so I'm good to go.
