bbiggar Posted April 21, 2005 #9 Share Posted April 21, 2005 fastphil4u, Have you met the Kazzz family on board. (John, Brenda and family)? We sailed with them in the past, what a nice couple, not to mention fun! If you read this before you get off the ship tell them bbiggar (Cindy) from Wisconsin says hello if you run into them. Can't wait to read the review when you get back. Have fun!

Thanks for the tip but I couldn't figure out where it all took place. I'm live from the Grandeur (is that allowed on a Carnival board?) :) We are still in port today. Yes, our ship hit the pier as we docked yesterday. The official word is that it was a 45' long scrape by 6' at it's widest and 5' above the water line. They have shipped specialists in and we are expecting to get into New Orleans a day later than scheduled. That's all we know so far. They have given us free internet and free 3 minute phone calls to make travel arrangements. RCCL is supposed to post an announcement on their website at noon eastern time. Anyone from the Miracle have a picture of the hole they can post?

heymom32000 Posted April 21, 2005 #13 Share Posted April 21, 2005 Oh wow, so you get a day more on your vacation and some excitement to talk about for a long time. My mom would be so jealous because she says nothing exciting ever happens when she's on vacation. LOL

DebbieN Posted April 21, 2005 #15 Share Posted April 21, 2005 Great idea jetsguy!!! LOL I am dying to know what a category 9a looks like and there are 0 pictures on the internet of Miracles 9a rooms. They are in the back of the ship behind the elevators on the upper, empress, verandah and panorama decks. I would be forever grateful. There are 2 9a's on each of the abovementioned decks :) .
