Wow,

What a nice ship! Having a great time, weather has been near perfect!Calm seas, cold drinks and warm days all add up to a great time.Leaving for Cozumel in an hour or so.Check the news tonight.RCCL Granduer of the seas, hit the pier when it came in today. It tore,I'm guessing a 30 foot long gash in her side. You could see in to the cabins.Maybe the crew's?bye for now,I will try and give a review when I get back home on monday.

One other question...

Here is a list of Supper Club desserts (new menu) which I located:

(someone else indicated this may not be complete - possibly missing another CHOCOLATE selection..)

- CITRUS CHEESECAKE

- WASHINGTON APPLE TARTE

- CHOCOLATE TARTE

- FRESH FRUITS

- SELECTION OF INTERNATIONAL CHEESES

Thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this matter!

Leaving from where to Cozumel ? Where was the Grandeur pulling into ?

Thanks for the tip but I couldn't figure out where it all took place.

Took place in Costa Maya. The Grandeur is overnighting there tonight evidentually for repairs. Hope they make it back on time to port in New Orleans.

fastphil4u, Have you met the Kazzz family on board. (John, Brenda and family)? We sailed with them in the past, what a nice couple, not to mention fun! If you read this before you get off the ship tell them bbiggar (Cindy) from Wisconsin says hello if you run into them. Can't wait to read the review when you get back. Have fun!

Save some drinks for me! I will be getting on as you are disembarking on Sunday!

Can't wait! Glad the weather is great! I am soooo looking forward to it!

I'm live from the Grandeur (is that allowed on a Carnival board?) :)

We are still in port today. Yes, our ship hit the pier as we docked yesterday. The official word is that it was a 45' long scrape by 6' at it's widest and 5' above the water line. They have shipped specialists in and we are expecting to get into New Orleans a day later than scheduled. That's all we know so far. They have given us free internet and free 3 minute phone calls to make travel arrangements. RCCL is supposed to post an announcement on their website at noon eastern time.

Anyone from the Miracle have a picture of the hole they can post?

Thanks Cathy! And yes, you are allowed to post here, since I go back and forth between the two boards, since I like both lines! Hope everything goes well for you all there! Let us know what is happening!

Great idea jetsguy!!! LOL

I am dying to know what a category 9a looks like and there are 0 pictures on the internet of Miracles 9a rooms.

They are in the back of the ship behind the elevators on the upper, empress, verandah and panorama decks.

I would be forever grateful. There are 2 9a's on each of the abovementioned decks :) .
