Live From The Epic - Post Questions Here

Hi guys! Posting this live from the Epic our second day at sea. If anyone has specific questions they need answered, and couldn't find the answers from previous cruisers already, post them here. I will sign on in a day or so, gather the questions, and report answers on my return. Will also be posting a review once back home.

 

First 24 hours on the ship were good - managed to drink a lot, meet some great people, eat at Le Bistro, see Cirque Dreams, and amass 3000 casino points. Not sure how much I like the ship yet, as I'm just getting out of the mind fog I have been in since arrival in Miami.

Can you explain how you earned 3000 casino points!?

What type of cabin are you in and do you like it? Does the ship feel crowded?

I will be on the Epic June 3,(Western Med. cruise) and I can't wait!

Please any more insights or comments about the Epic would be great.

If you happen to go into the casino look for my dad...he is cruising with you. He is hard to miss, 6'7" grey hair with a comb over ..... if you want to mess with him, ask him if he is Debbie's dad and tell him you can't believe he doesn't remember you..... hehehehe

Is the Cirque show still very audience " interactive"? We are not into shows that try to embarrass audience members or force you into participation.

I know your having a great cruise....sailing April 14 on the 11 day transatlantic to Barcelona. Can you please confirm the house wine is Tisdale White & Red. Also I a desperate to find out what the House Champagne is.

Tons of questions, but will limit to a few. I, yesterday, put down a depoist to sail on The Epic...Valentine's Day..2013. ( It will be our 41st. Anniversary...We sailed on the Carnival Freedom this year.). We are in Balcony.....100075 which is rated a "large balcony." what does that mean" Sounds good.

The Reviews...and I have read a lot..are all over the place. Lovely or kids running wild. Great entertainment or better stuff on TV. Food is great..everywhere or just in the For Pay REstaurants..or bad all over. CRAZY!

So:

Do you feel crowded? Buffet...hordes of people?

Do they have parlor games...Like Trivia which we enjoy on Sea Days and such.?

IS Food in MDR eatable?

Do they give discounts on speciality DR on first day..20%?

Entertainment?

IS THE CASINO....A MONEY EATER NOT A MONEY GIVER?

 

THANKS LADY. I AM HAVING MAJOR SECOND THOUGHTS THIS MORNING. And we sailed on the Jewel a few years ago. LOVED IT. I was thinking of maybe...switching to the Pearl. or something. Or back to Princess...as mad as I am over how they handled the Novo outbreak on our cruise last December. Awful. NO one in charge.We have cruised 20 times. Only bad cruise we ever had....
