ev8876 Posted April 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Does the Golden Princess dining room have tables that can accomodate 12-14 people or will they make us split up between 2 tables?
cherylandtk Posted April 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2005 The largest table is meant for 10, but we put 11 using a highchair. I think you could maybe squeeze in 12, but it gets hard for the waiters to maneuver, depending on the layout of the station. I think 14 would be pushing it too far. You might get put at two tables in the same station (same waitstaff, uses the same serving area). Are you in PC dining or fixed traditional? NightOne Posted April 22, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2005 We had 9 at our table on the Golden and I wouldn't have wanted 1 more. It was actually better when someone missed dinner and there were only 8. I didn't see any other tables bigger than the size we had. I would definitely start figuring out a 2 table scenario. Hot2Travel Posted April 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Can you special order Salmon for dinner on the Grand? Also is smoked Salmon served on the breakfast & lunch buffet?
marco Posted April 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Unless things have changed, you can order salmon every evening. Smoked was always available at breakfast. Don't think it was ALWAYS out at lunch buffets. As for your table of 12, ask for two for 6 next to each other and robin. It's better for conversation and easier for staff to serve.
