Summer sailing in Europe. The ship will be full of kids. Even Celebrity ships. If there’s a similar sailing in September I’d suggest that.

That doesn’t explain why they have changed the pricing of the solo cabins on the E class ships. Those cabins were designed to carry only one passenger. Initially they were priced in line with what the per person pricing was for an IV cabin. Now they are being priced at a premium well in excess of that.

Her current contract ends soon. Maybe mid October? If that's the case, she'll be off duty through probably mid January.

Enjoyed your report. We were on the Beyond sailing right before yours. 3 out of 4 of us came home with Covid. Based on the posts to out FB group page, several came down with Covid. We’d heard the cruise before ours also had a number of Covid cases. There was lots of “colds” and coughing on board. Seems the Beyond might be struggling with Covid infections. Nobody seriously ill though. Risk of cruising these days.

On the Beyond last week we were always offered a baked potato or double vegetables instead of the mashed. The baked potatoes were delicious.

Magic Carpet bar will be open. And likely not crowded.

I did the classic to premium alcohol upgrade for 50% off at $9.99 a day for my Beyond sailing next month. It was a no brainer for me.

I will be so disappointed if they don’t have the Zacapa on my September Beyond sailing. But I suspect I’ll survive…maybe. 😀

The chairs are actually quite comfortable. They also had loungers on the Sunset Balconies on the Beyond this summer.

Zacapa Old Fashion at the World Bar. Hands down best drink.

This happened to us today also. Although we got the "Thank you we look forward to seeing you" page, we got no email confirmation and our CC was not charged. And the cabin we booked was still available. Called Celebrity and they said it was likely it didn't go through so we booked with them on the phone. I think the web site is having issues.

We used Rome Cabs to/from FCO and cruise port. They provide wonderful reliable service. Will definitely use them again when we cruise out of Rome next year.
