NCL Sky 3/2/12 Alcohol

Some co-workers just came back from the weekend Sky cruise and said there were many many bottles of alcohol confiscated. They saw water bottles and the original plastic liquor bottles but did not mention rum runners. I believe they are stepping up screening for the Spring Break season. Just a heads up for you all going soon.

NCL was the only line our Rum Runner has been confiscated on when we choose to use them...

5 cruises with rum runners and no problem.

I traveled on the Sky with my 2 young grandchildren and they took my water bottles out of the wrappers and shook them looking for booze. Now if they check old grandmoms, I guess they could check anyone. But they never get did find the good stuff!

I've cruised on Disney, Carnival, & RCCL and never had any alcohol confiscated. 1st time on NCL....so, what's a "rum runner"?
