Questions about E2 cabins

Hi All: So just got upgraded from an oceanview midship to a balcony guarantee. I am hoping I am happy. My only concern is whether we will be right near the anchor? right under a disco, etc. that kind of thing.

I tried looking at the deck plans on the RCCL site. However they only showed me deck 7 which looked pretty good for an E2. Does anyone have any more in depth info that would put my mind at ease??? I really prefer midship but couldn't resist a balcony. haven't had one since my 2005 cruise on Serenade. I've been staying in oceanview.

There really are no bad balcony cabins in my opinion. Any ocean view is better than no ocean view, even if it's obstructed. I don't think you can lose on a balcony guarantee. We've done them on purpose a couple of times and always got a great assignment. Go for it!:D

I had an E2 on the Navigator and I have booked now on the Liberty for November. Nothing bad about it.

Unless you're on deck 2 or 3, you won't have an "anchor" problem....and it's a fleeting moment, if you should hear it!

There really are no "bad" balconies!

We were in a hump cabin on the Navigator that was an E2....... It was great!

I feel much better knowing about the anchor noise, so thank you very much. And now you have all gotten me so excited and I cannot wait to find out what cabin we are in.
