Jules, see if this happens. You won't find anybody who makes a big deal of your smoking, at all. B/c people say things here on CC.com that they wouldn't think of saying, on the ship!

Now, you can concentrate on getting there (I have the utmost confidence in you -- do be sure to pack the info and your travel docs in your carry-on, though, if you're flying!!).

And, may I please borrow DD to help me open my pill and Listerine bottles that are kid-proof but really 65 y.o. May-proof, too?? Thx!!

And of course we all look forward to hearing a full report, when you return.

Jules, what happens on this board does not reflect this kind of attitude on the ship. Most passengers are very tolerant of other passengers. Hey now! I know a few things! Like a.) I am so friggin excited to go on a cruise I can barely contain myself and want to leave TODAY, and b.) Smoking is allowed on HAL ships in designated areas as previously mentioned and you are ill-informed if you think otherwise, and c.) you are crabby!
