My wife and I used to live in Jersey City, right on the River ... there were times early in the morning that we knew it was foggy simply by hearing the blast horns from the cruise ships sailing up the Hudson.

There was heavy fog Saturday morning, I was heading down to the St. Patrick's Day Parade on the train at 7:40 A.M. This was a cool video!:)

We were on this sailing and let me tell you it was some eerie for sure. We were up in the Haven so we were high enough to see over the fog but below that you could not see a thing. Was happy when we reached the pier and docked.

What a beautiful ship and we had a great time. Once you do the Haven, you'll never go back. The peace and quiet for meals and lounging was worth the price of the ticket alone. Can't wait to go back, made our deposit that is good for 4 years so I'm shopping for the perfect sailing. NCL knows how to treat their guests!!:)

It was a fantastic end to a fantastic cruise. kudos to captain Lars for not hitting anything on the way in :D
