We are in Juneau on August 28 from 7 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. We have bought the toursavers book and plan to use the zipline and era helicopter glacier tour coupons. Is there a time of day that is better to schedule the helicopter tour?

You are going to have to schedule this when a slot is available. I was told they only accept 2 coupons per day. I in the am, 1 in the pm. Book that TODAY, then fill in with zip line availablity.

I went online to book. Went through the whole process and when I got to the credit card portion, I realized the website is not secure. I have left messages and emails but didn't hear but based on your response, I went through and booked but used a bogus cc# and included a message for them to email me with a good time to call with my cc#. The website took my request, so I hope it works!

Just a wag, but IMO, chances of fog are less in the afternoon than in the morning. When we did the helicopter trip, we did the PM trip and had no problems. But, if they don't give you a choice, take what they will give you.

I had trouble with the Era Flightseeing website when trying to book, so called them directly. Worked out to my advantage as we didn't have to choose morning or afternoon, but instead the very friendly woman told me all the times available to use the 2-4-1 coupon and we got an 11:45 time which was perfect for us. We'll be in Juneau August 5th. We will do the zipline in Ketchikan as it just seemed to much to do in one day, as there's Mendenhall to see too.

You were lucky, maybe it depends on who answers the phone. I tried to book over the phone and got nowhere, and I had called a few times. I was told they could not book a coupon spot over the phone, it had to be on the website. Later I was emailed by someone who changed my time to something more what I was hoping for - I did put a note on my web booking. There were not even definite times - just a choice of morning, mid morning, afternoon etc.

After an email, phone call, and online request I finally called the 907 area code number at 4:00 pm eastern time and spoke to an actual person. Received excellent customer arrive from that point and booked the 4:15 pm flight on 8/28! So excited!!!!
