piratesmate Posted March 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2012 I'm planning to take the regular Denali shuttle all the way to Wonder Lake. However, the times for the Eielson shuttle are better (Wonder Lake shuttle has no departures between 7:15 am and 9:15 on 6/12/12). So I thought I would take the 8 am Eielson shuttle and buy the extension to Wonder Lake once I got to Eielson. Has anyone done this? Is the ticket to Wonder Lake available at Eielson? Or do they sell out? Thanks all.
frugaltravel Posted March 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2012 Someone asked the exact same question on Trip Advisor. Seems like good advice there. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g143022-i1271-k5267389-How_early_would_you_take_the_shuttle_to_Wonder_Lake-Denali_National_Park_and_Preserve_Alaska.html

Budget Queen Posted March 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2012 There is an ARAMARK booth at Eielson. You can purchase a Wonder Lake upgrade. Be prepared to have to wait, however, if you have a group, if McKinley is viewable.
