Leaving tomorrow on the Glory!!

We're leaving tomorrow for a week long Eastern Caribbean trip on the Glory out of Miami. It seems like it's been forever since I booked this trip back in September. The weather for the trip is showing scattered showers on occasion, but if past history has shown me anything, I hope they'll pass by quickly!

I'll be sure to post pictures and my trip report when I get back and share my trip experiences with all of you!!! This is our 3rd trip on Carnival and I'm looking forward to another great trip!

Time to go finish packing and then start thinking about what my first cocktail will be when I board the ship! We have a $120 OBC waiting for us and our Bon Voyage rum just ready to be enjoyed! :D

Sweet! Have a wonderful time! I loved the Glory but I'm still upset that the lines to the Mongolian wok were crazy long and I could never try it. I may have to sail on her again.

Have a wonderful cruise, enjoy each and every moment.

$120 on board credit - wow... :)

The OBC comes from 2 price drops and for some reason they charged us an addtional $40 after we had already booked and paid in full. When I asked them about it, they couldn't really give me a good reason why they charged us in the first place considering I paid for the trip in full with our tips included when we booked in September. They refunded the $40 back to us in an OBC...so all is good!!!

The Glory is my favorite ship thus far. I enjoyed her layout, the serenity deck....Ohhhh the serenity deck.....how I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fish and chips, the mongolian wok, the steak house, the casino, the pools, the movies at night on the deck....Oh I could go on and on and on and on..Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Just off the Glory yesterday morning! Ship looked great. All the staff we had the pleasure of meeting were upbeat and extremely attentive. Had a great time!

That being said, we did find that service in the Dining Room was a little slow. As mentioned 100 times on CC, the wait staff have more tables to cover, leading to a longer dinner experience. Also, the breakfast and lunch buffet was quite busy during the peak hours.

But, here's a good tip for the Glory and any other Carnival ship... During your first lunch on board, skip the buffet all together! No one has found the Pizzeria or better yet, the Fish & Chips upstairs. Both are empty for lunch! There's plenty of time during your cruise to eat at the regular buffets!

Have a great trip on the Glory. I will be sailing Glory on the NYC to Canada/New England 9/22/12 sailing. I booked it so long ago and now it is 6 months away. It is coming fast.

I look forward to seeing your photos. Bon voyage.

Have been on the Glory for the past

two Super Bowls. Both were great

trips. Love the ship, and she will

be going into drydock this November

for some 2.0 updates..

I am sure you will have a great time..

Get to the port by 11:00 am.

This past Feburary I was onboard by

11:45 am, and one of the first in line

for the Mongolian Wok, which is great!!
