Healthy food in Solarium on Allure

I am a healthy eater and I try to eat as healthy as I can when I am cruising. I do splurge though once in a while with all the great food. Can anybody give me specific types of healthy food they offer at the Solarium?

For Breakfast they have a huge selection of pre-cut fruit, make your own muesli, yogurt cups with fruit and granola, eggs, oatmeal, turkey bacon....we went every morning for Breakfast, it was very good. For lunch they have hot wraps with veggies and sometimes filled with fish and veggies, very good. Fish dishes, a large salad bar with fresh salad and toppings with different lettuces to choose from as well as cold noodle type salads. That is what I can remember, I know there is more.

One of my favorite items at lunch in the solarium is the do-it-yourself gazpacho. You ladle the chilled tomato based soup into a bowl and then you can add whatever finely chopped veggies thye provide to the soup that you want. It is wonderful and refreshing.

I enjoyed the gazpacho as well.

 

Another option is the Park Cafe where you can customize your own salad. They also have fruit and yogurt and other options available that are pre-made.

We also enjoyed some of the offerings in the Solarium for breakfast. However, the turkey bacon was not one of our favorites.

UGH! We were planning on eating in the Solarium for lunch on embarkation day. But, if they don't have hot chicken or turkey (some might consider those healthy meats), then we may have to rethink our plans. We do like fish, we are just a bit picky. We also enjoy salads, but would prefer some protein (other than fish) with our roughage!
