Free Wifi - Western Carib Ports?

Going on Legend - going to Cozumel, Roatan, Belize and Grand Cayman.

 

Is there free wifi at these cruise terminals?

 

I know Belize we have to tender in, is there anywhere on shore nearby where i can get a signal?

Yes, Most bars and restaurants have WiFii.

Just ask and they will be happy to give you the sign on info. My daughter selects where we will dine or drink according to this requirement.

I have friends who do the exact same thing.:) Gotta work around their need for the internet.

In Coz, go to Paradise Beach. If I had to work on the internet, that is where I would want to do it. Roatan has Wifi at the Mahagony Bay Beach area, but it didn't work very well. Didn't try Belize or Grand Cayman.

If no free wifi available, you will surely find some "reasonable"option at many ports.

If I can't find out here, I simply follow the crew going on shore leave....they always seem to know where they can 'Skype' home for free, or at low cost.....;)

I used the free WiFi when I was in Margaritaville in Cozumel. It didn't require a login at the time and was reasonably fast.
