Vancouver Hotel - Arriving Late

We have a very long day/night of travel coming from Maine. We aren't landing (if all flights are on schedule) until 11 PM. I want to use either Hilton or Marriott points and also find a hotel that has a shuttle either from the airport or to the pier in the am. We won't be there long but looking for a good place to stay. Breakfast in the morning is necessary. Room service would be a plus.

Both of these hotels have a complimentary shuttle from the airport. Both are within easy walking distance to Canada Line.

The AAA rate is very reasonable compared to other hotels.

 

Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel is located only 5km from the Vancouver International Airport, accessible by complimentary airport shuttle. Also close to Vancouver and Richmond's business districts, Steveston Village and popular Vancouver attractions.

There is a Marriott and Renaissance on West Hastings just a few blocks from Canada Place and they are just re-opening a Residence in the 1200 blk of Hornby St. None of these will have an airport or pier shuttle but the first two are within walking distance of Canada Place. A taxi fare from airport to almost any hotel in the downtown area will run about $35 and about $10 from hotel to Canada Place.

Looks like I'm ready to book my reservation. How exciting. This is our first cruise to Alaska for our 25th. Thank you all the info.

DH wants to stay downtown and we don't have enough points for that. How far in advance would you recommend booking a room for mid August?
