TraSeaTrvls Posted January 12, 2015 #27 Share Posted January 12, 2015 we really are enjoying this cruising life..lol it's got something for all of us and we get to include my mother and my son and his friends but we do like to get the best deals and the casino offers are really good if you can manage to get everyone together at the times they offer!!! we were hoping to book on the magic at the end of march for spring break.. if we all booked in a suite could my mother and I combine our discounts and she still get her free play or are we better off getting separate rooms? clcjdn Posted January 12, 2015 #28 Share Posted January 12, 2015 They have to be separate from my experience. My parents both get offers as well, so we could technically book 3 rooms on a Premier Offer. We haven't done that yet as the dates haven't worked out. I started transitioning to NCL because CAS (their players club) has some pretty good offers (comped sailings, tournaments, etc.) Basically, their Comped cabins are about $300 for the first 2, but can be used on most sailings, not tied down to specific sailings like Premier offers. You also don't get the special drawings on NCL, but not like any of us have won one of those on CCL.
TraSeaTrvls Posted January 12, 2015 #29 Share Posted January 12, 2015 That's what I thought!! Thanks for the info!!! we have done fairly well on carnival as far as the slots have gone..about what I expect on a cruise..I was told carnival was only linked to each other for casino..but the NCL or RC was attached through vegas and atlantic city through Harrahs and others..Idk if that is true or not but would make sense if they offer more frequently and no drawings as carnival does. clcjdn Posted January 13, 2015 #30 Share Posted January 13, 2015 NCL has CAS which is like the players club for Carnival. They also have a relationship with Total Rewards (I believe) which is a different avenue for comped cruises. Basically, people often get their first cruise from TR but then establish play with CAS and most then go direct to CAS for future bookings/comps. Either TR or CAS will get you a drink card. We don't have TR here, so I went direct to CAS after my first sailing with NCL.
thephillykid Posted January 23, 2015 #31 Share Posted January 23, 2015 My son and I are leaving on the Carnival Freedom Next week for an offer that i received on the final night of my last cruise on the Glory. The offer was a free inside room for a whole list of cruises on the back of the sheet. We booked a 12 night cruise on the Freedom for only port taxes and we were able to upgrade to a balcony for only $10 per day per person and we did it. My question.....are we going to get any additional perks on board? Like drinks on us or OBC? Please let me know . BTW.....I only play craps. We received drinks on us cards, a couple of bottles of free wine, free steakhouse dinners and casino cash. I would Email the players club and get written confirmation for the drinks card and make sure you bring that with you.

Proplayer Posted January 21, 2017 #35 Share Posted January 21, 2017 For some reason I received a "casino rate" that discounted my room for about $50. Will I receive any other perks, i.e. free drink card when I get on board? How many points do you have to accumulate to get major discounts or a free cruise? Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Forums
TraSeaTrvls Posted January 22, 2017 #36 Share Posted January 22, 2017 after 7500 points you will receive premier offers from the casino ..it includes free drinks for you and one other person..you get entered in drawings.to win cash and prizes.throughout the cruise...they leave stuff in your room..cookies chocolate covered strawberries champagne towels...etc....you also get priority boarding and debarkation...these points can be accumulated with in a years time...oh you also recieve casino cash when on board...if you recieve 10,000 points on one cruise you will get the premier offer with your cruise for two completely free except taxes and port cost...hope this was helpful 😉
muggo11 Posted February 9, 2017 #37 Share Posted February 9, 2017 We got,our first premier cruise offer a few weeks ago and immediately booked a 7-day to Mexico over the 4th of July. Interior was free--taxes and port fees only. Can't wait to experience a premier cruise. Question: how long will I stay on the premiere list? As long as I play at the necessary levels or will a cruise with fewer credits bounce me out of the offer pool?

Thanks The last premier cruise I booked - about a month ago - (interior cabin) was for an 8 day/7 night cruise for 2. My total charge was ~$256.00 for taxes and port fees. In my opinion, this is much cheaper than what I have been offered as "free" cruises with other lines. ~Bob
Alabaster Cruiser Posted February 13, 2017 #40 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Got a bounce back on our last premier. Due to having about 5 cruisers booked we settled for a quick 5 day from Mobile. Taxes and port charges $160. Sent from my VK700 using Tapatalk

mzlinda Posted February 15, 2017 #42 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Question: how long will I stay on the premiere list? As long as I play at the necessary levels or will a cruise with fewer credits bounce me out of the offer pool? I got my 1st Premier offer over the summer in 2016. My premier cruise was in October. It was fantastic and I couldn't wait to do it again but I was not included in the round of offers that came out in November. The October cruise was my 5th Carnival cruise in 12 months, and each time, I had more points so I don't understand why I was not included in that next offer. I wrote to Ocean Players Club and they sent me a canned response that the criteria may have changed. I did get a bounceback offer while on the premier cruise in October and I immediately booked a cruise for December. I wouldn't think they would exclude me from premiers because I had a BBC booked but who knows! I thought premiers were purely based on your points. I did get the Premier offer that expires this week so apparently I'm back on the list. So, once you make the Premier list, that does not guarantee that you will stay on it. Most people do, but I definitely got skipped for a while. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

stevefrisco Posted July 16, 2017 #46 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Is it possible to get a bounce back offer when you already have another cruised booked for a later date? For instance, if I have a cruise booked in December, could I get a bounce back offer on a cruise I attend in September to book another cruise based on my level of play? Does already having a cruise booked affect my ability to get other offers? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it to play on an upcoming cruise when I already have another one booked. Alabaster Cruiser Posted July 16, 2017 #47 Share Posted July 16, 2017 When you get back from cruise send an email to Players Club and ask if you qualified for bounce back. We have gotten them that way when we didn't get the letter on the ship. That was with another cruise booked. Ok - I honestly have never had any luck emailing with stuff but I guess it is worth a try. Glad it isn't impossible to get another offer, I've got my eyes on a few things in January or Feb if I can get an offer. Just need to hope my brother also gets one because we'd have to take our parents as it is MLK Day weekend and we always celebrate it together (some family knew Dr. King). They stopped doing the march in our hometown because of the BLM yay-hoos so a cruise would definitely be a way to lift my parents' spirits that weekend. I'm sure the cruise would have some cool theme activities like they do for July 4, Memorial Day and X-Mas (in our experiences).
EZ1 Posted July 17, 2017 #49 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Yes, now they are giving BB letters, the last nite, even if you have cruises booked. We got in April, May & June. But they have changed the BB available cruises to about 3 months out, & only specific ones-same for everyone to choose from. (Even though the letter says 6 months). In 2016 & earlier. it was so easy-you could pick any sailing & most were open. But back then, if you had a future cruise booked, you would not get a BB letter.
