I emailed Johna and she said we are confirmed.. But until I see that $$ about paid in full on Carnivals site I will worry..

 

Yeah, my Docs show I am paid in full also. Just worried that Carnival may try to move me to a different category Balcony if a Party of 3 come looking. And if our cruise is sold, maybe try to move me to a different cruise altogether. And I am paid for the 2 dayer too. Maybe I am just worried for nothing. Will see.....

I'm here, I'm here!:) Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers for Kailee! It was a rough day for her yesterday, but better today. She actually came home tonite!:eek: She just couldn't stand being there another night. Last nite they were screwing around stripping wax and rewaxing floors outside her room until 3:30 am!:mad: I cannot believe it...I would have been raising hell all over that darn hospital! Then they had her hooked up to a machine that monitors everything, and every time she fell asleep, her respiration dropped and it would beep. Nurse said she couldn't turn off the beeping. The morning nurse came in, flicked a switch and the beeping stopped:rolleyes: She really needed to be home. Lexi was beside herself to see her...so cute. So now we have all the new diet restrictions to get used to....it's the beginning of a new adventure.

I also emailed Johna today and she told me not to worry...she said the people having issues adding people are the ones trying to add 3rd and 4th people to their cabins.

Doing good here. All this humidity is getting to me though. Would rather see the heat with no humidity (not sure if no humidity exists where I live lol)than the cold. When the cold visits...so does my good friend Arther (itis). Arther is not a very nice friend LOL :p

Good Morning Funatics!!

 

Yep been a while since I've posted on CC - been lurking, but just been busy and trying to keep my sanity with that which is a ball of fur, wiggles, and stubbornness! I think the puppy inherited both mine and Chris's hard-headedness :rolleyes: :p

 

We took him to the dog park for the first time on Sunday - took him about 10 mins to warm up to the other dogs but after that he was literally like a pig in dirt... he was SO freaking dirty, but loved every minute of it. I think it'll be a once a week or so outing, and definitely on bath-day. Lucky dog ended up getting 2 baths last weekend :rolleyes:

 

Can NOT WAIT for this cruise. Feels like we are coming into the homestretch now!

Cass, for some reason, Lexi ADORES Kailee...we fear what will happen if they finally move out:eek: Glad Vasher likes the dog park! Lexi likes it, too, but for some reason she gets way too hot, so we haven't brought her much in the summer. And yes, a trip there makes for one dirty pup! LOL!

Stephen, hope your friend gets out of the hospital soon...that is no place to rest, for sure. Kailee is a vet tech...maybe they have it out for those in the Veterinary profession!:eek: I have some mobility issues at times as well...really stinks. My knee is still not healed after that fall 4 months ago!:mad:

speaking of a pig in dirt... I went through a drive through animal park on Monday. Was supposed to have a car load but ended up just two passengers... Rosa and her adorable 4 yr old daughter Alexis. The highlight of the trip was the baby potbelly pigs, baby monkeys, and baby ostrich.

 

Zebras, reindeer, and llamas were among the few that were fed and when appropriate petted. I could see some of the deer were shedding their antlers and didnt want my hand or truck for that matter being confused with a tree to rub against.

 

A great time was had by all!
