Flick Posted May 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2012 PV is Puerto Vallarta. A tip....keep your watch on ship time regardless of wether or not you are on the ship at any given time. That way you never have to worry about the ship leaving you behind. Actually, in March the night we sailed from San Diego we set our clocks one hour ahead and left them there (this was also ship time). We never turned them back because after 9 days of sailing the MR it was daylight savings time when we got back to San Diego. Made life much less complicated. AjaxCruiser Posted May 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Yuppa - no reason to be worried about any other time than ship's time Unless you have an excursion booked. We were an hour early for our Jamaica excursion because we didn't realize there was a time difference!
4hunters Posted May 1, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 1, 2012 To answer your question OP, during June the ship will be one hour behind the time in PV. It would be two hours but the ship jumps ahead one hour the night before reaching PV.
MrsBlair Posted May 1, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Just got off the Splendor on Sunday. On Wednesday night we set our clocks ahead one hour, and we were still one hour behind in PV. On Friday night we set our clocks back an hour. Cabo was one hour ahead of us as well.
