bionicman97 Posted May 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2012 Just got a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 APO DG HSM EX OS over the weekend. A few test shots from the backyard. So far, very happy with Sharpness, Bokeh, Focus speed and stabilization. It is heavy though. Wouldn't carry it around all day.

sparky-elpaso Posted May 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2012 Finally got some rain here in El Paso. This rainbow was a complete arc - so big I could only get sections. I decided to check out in front of our house too. Somewhere behind those clouds is a mountain.
TheRoff Posted May 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2012 A couple of different ones from my favorite city. Always interesting on Pennsylvania Ave at the White House. Many times DC is a "Tale of Two Cities." Larry

Victress2007 Posted May 9, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 9, 2012 Not great photos - but an example of always nice to have a camera with you. Yesterday it was in the 90s here - today we got some rain and hail - very untypical at this time of the year. Flash flooding usually waits for the monsoon season in July - August. Victress2007 Posted May 10, 2012 #9 Share Posted May 10, 2012 I left my house just before it started and seemed to come home at the height of the flooding. I was gone about 2 hours. I'm not too used to the rural lifestyle - but yesterday I was glad I traded in my sedan for a small crossover.
ItsAllAboutTheSass Posted May 10, 2012 #10 Share Posted May 10, 2012 These are some weather pics from the Pittsburgh region yesterday. I didn't take any of these, but thought some here may enjoy them. I love weather pics. http://ulocal.wtae.com/service/searchEverything.kickAction?as=62962&mediaType=photo&sortType=recent&tab=yes&includePhoto=on&d-7095067-p=

framer Posted May 13, 2012 #18 Share Posted May 13, 2012 Vic This a a fine art photo. It could have been taken with a box camera 100 years ago or today with a D4 and it's still a great photo. framer

Rare pierces Posted May 19, 2012 Author #23 Share Posted May 19, 2012 A little late....travelling for work and all. Impromptu tasting of the brews at an evening with friends. You can clearly taste the maple and the aftertaste of bacon is strangely pleasing. Shoot what you like and like what you shoot! Dave
TheRoff Posted May 21, 2012 #24 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Maple and bacon beer. I don't know. I have been thinking about the taste since you posted this. I guess I can't knock it until I have tried it. But some how.......... Larry
