Info on Coral Breeze boat, please??

I e-mailed Coral Breeze with my question but got no response. Can anyone tell me how you climb back onto the boat on the shark/ray alley trip? Is it ladder, steps, ledge?? I am disabled and it is difficult for me to climb a ladder out of the water. I want to book with them before I leave on my cruise in 2 weeks, if I think I can manage getting on and off the boat.

That's a good question. My guess from looking at the pic of their boat on their website it must be some sort of ladder. There are two or three outboard motors in the rear of the boat so I can't see how they could have a swim platform back there.

Ive had pretty good luck with my questions but I emailed Sunday and haven't heard back. They were prompt with my other two emails. Id keep emailing and if necessary call. This part of the board isn't very active, unfortunately.

There is a ladder on the back of the boat and one of the crew takes your hand and pulls you up. It is not easy but it is doable. I hope this helps!

Is there a platform close to the water level, or are you having to climb up this ladder several feet out of the water?

I also e-mailed Coral Breeze and did not hear back from them. I happened to be checking my spam folder and there was my reply. I have AOL, so if you have AOL, check there. Coral Breeze had replied to me the day after I e-mailed them. Hope this helps!

The ladder had about 4 steps. There is no platform. Basically, you put your feet on the bottom rung and give one hand to the crew member on the boat. They pull you out of the water so that you are standing on the ladder and you just walk up the 4 steps and you are on the boat. I hope this helps!

There are a few steps, and I weigh about 340lbs. and they pulled me into the boat no trouble at all. We had a very nice time. paul always responds very quickly.

Do you remember about what time ya'll go back to the tender pier? I ship doesn't leave until 6 p.m., but I want to make sure I have at least 1 hour to shop.

The excursion is 5 hours long. You will get back in plenty of time to shop. There is not that much shopping to do there. I hope this helps!

I have one additional comment. We did Coral Brezze in Feb. Our boat was absolutely packed with people. Way too crowded.

I couldn't get to the ladder to get off the boat so I jumped over the side. Make sure you speak to the person in charge of your tour, explain your needs and make sure they seat you close to the ladder.
