Whats the best you got?

Recommended Posts

A total of $320.00 (160.00 per person) in residency rate price drops on my last cruise. Thats been my best yet.

Thats unbelievably awsome!

Sound like a price you would pay for the old Suncruz Casino - lol.

Got a total of 420.00 off our D1 cabin on the September's Freedom of the Seas western itinerary. Our 3 nighter on Monarch we just completed in May dropped 200.00 total.

This is the first time we have ever seen a drop... all of our other cruises went up in price.

I used credit card points to upgrade my inside cabin to an OV, then - through a series of both price drops and residency discounts - we ended up paying $499/per person for a seven-day cruise out of San Juan on a Deck 3 OV cabin. I'd booked the cruise using a NextCruise certificate so we also got $100 in OBC from RCL, and ANOTHER $100 OBC from my travel agent!! THAT was the very best deal EVER!!!

Have never gotten price drops, but have always checked online, a bit OCD on that I'm afraid. and we have always gotten the best deals for the cruises we have selected with some OBC as a bonus. Happy Days...

Believe it or not our upcoming Canada/repo cruise on Brilliance in October has been quite interesting! We originally booked a D2 at $1729 pp. Then the price dropped to $1419 pp. Two weeks later it was now $1219 pp. Finally at the beginning of May we got a Military rate of $1049 pp! So all total we have saved $680 pp or a grand total of $1,360. All I can say is keep checking prices because if some cruises aren't selling the prices will drop dramatically (at least the non-suites seem to)

Only about $50 a person. We did get however, $200 per cabin past passenger discount and we have $750 in OBC's from our credit card. Hopefully by the time we sail it will be more. I see some spa treatments in my future. :)

Explorer out of Bayonne it keeps going up. Hoping for a possibitly to upgrade on the ship. If not we are happy with what we have.

Was wondering what the best OBC or price drop you have gotten back on a cruise?

We have booked for 2014 and pondering what deals we may receive between now and then?

Booked Allure in Oct of 2010 for a May 2011 cruise. Price dropped and got $300OBC for staying in the same cabin. Add in $250OBC from the RC Visa, that was a fun week!

When we first booked our cruise it was $3000 each for a balcony (Mediterranean honeymoon). However, a few months later I could get a balcony guarantee for $1500 a person. Thus, we saved $3000 total for the two of us. Do I still have my desirable 9th floor superior hump balcony cabin? No. However, I do have a deluxe cabin located pretty much under the hump on floor seven. For $3000 - I'll take it!
