Has anyone any suggestions regarding tours or things to do in/around Gaspe? I have been trying to find a company who would take a private tour but with no luck.

Has anybody rented a car? is there a rental place at the pier will be here in Sept. any kind of information will be grateful thanks:)

Maryann since you are from the region - well a lot closer than I am do you happen to know if Gaspe is a tender or docking port.

 

It will help in my planning if I know.

It was a tender port for Maasdam last fall, and she's one of the smaller ships to call there. it's a pretty short tender ride, so not bad.

 

We took a ship's tour to Perce. it included an hour guided walk. Ironically, we got our best pictures of the rock from our balcony on the ship as we sailed by in the afternoon.

 

We tendered in to a little marina, I didn't see any shops or car rentals nearby. We got on the bus for our tour right there, so I didn't get to see any of the town.

I would take a tour to Perce. There wasn't much to do in town when we were there in 2009. It was a tender port for the Eurodam.

I am glad others answered your question because I had no idea, having only driven there and that was quite a few years ago. I love Cruise Critic!
