SueMLewis Posted May 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Is there a fee to eat there for lunch. I noticed they have fish and chips are they good?
caribill Posted May 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Food is at no cost. Beverages (other than tap water) are extra. Yes, it is good, but not necessarily totally authentic according to some UK posters.

You're talking about the pub lunch, which is held on certain sea days from 11:30 - 2:30. No charge for food.

Rare Cruise Junky Posted May 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2012 And isn't the pub lunch in the Bayou and not the Wheelhouse?
Loonbeam Posted May 25, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Bayou or rarely in Sabatinis... And isn't the pub lunch in the Bayou and not the Wheelhouse?
Phyljim Posted May 25, 2012 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2012 We disembarked the Coral on 15 May after 20 days. During the entire time all the Pub lunches were held in the Bayou Cafe. They were very good, and very well attended. Many times a short wait time. Was worth it.

Loonbeam Posted May 25, 2012 #9 Share Posted May 25, 2012 It will almost always be in the Bayou. But one day someone murfed up and scheduled an art event in the Bayou after the lunch and they had to set up so they had it in Sabatinis... We disembarked the Coral on 15 May after 20 days. bjboothman Posted May 25, 2012 #10 Share Posted May 25, 2012 I've had it in the Wheelhouse, I'm sure of it --- we were seated at those cocktail tables and it was sort of awkward. Watch the Patters, it isn't highly advertised and you may miss it. My last 10 day cruise, it was served 3 times (at the Bayou) and the menu changed slightly. Loonbeam Posted May 25, 2012 #11 Share Posted May 25, 2012 I could see it happening for the same reason it got moved to Sabatinis once... Pia1913 Posted May 25, 2012 #12 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Wheelhouse is very awkward. Good to hear they moved it, even though I'm not one who likes it. My poor husband needs to find someone else who will partake with him.
