I haven't sailed since 2006...

As I understand it, some changes have been made since I last sailed in 2006..

Do they still charge a fuel surcharge?

You used to be able to bring cases of soda and beer (1 of each) onboard? I understand you can no longer do that..

Same with wine. No longer can you bring wine on the ship and pay a corkage fee. Did I read that right?

Some of the excursions are gone such as jet ski's...

What else has changed? I may be mistaken on all counts and just heard or read wrong. Please let me know.. Thanks

The Funnel Deck is no longer an "Adult Only" deck

I'm sure others will chime in but as far as I know...

wine is one 750ml per over 21 adult.

Yes still fuel surcharge.

No topless deck... :o

Some other changes but for the most part STILL FUN!!! :D

Funnel deck... Funnel deck.. NOT topless deck! We would go up there to see if we could see Cuba from there and we didn't want kids hearing the words we had for Fidel Castro is all.. Nothing about it being topless.. :D

I guess you havent cruised a while either, as I think it was 2009 the last time the fuel surcharge was charged.

They are allowed to charge it and reserve the right, but its NOT being charged now OP. .. and Carnival has been saying "no plans at this time"
