Spa discounts for Silver+ Latitudes members?

One of the perks for Latitudes members is:

 

Member Discount on Spa Signature Services during port days;

15% Silver members, 20% Gold members, 25% Platinum members

 

I'm wondering if anyone has taken advantage of this. I wonder if it can be used in combination with some of the port day specials that are advertised in the Freestyle Daily or if it can only be used on certain full-price services. I'm not really sure what's meant by "signature service." Anyone have any insight?

We did not get the discount on the spa specials - port or otherwise or the spa passes.

Wasn't able to get this for the spa passes, but didn't get any other services on our last cruise. Doubt they would give it on any specials. Probably available only on regularly priced services.

Port days the spa usually has pretty big discounts. People tend to go ashore so coaxing people to purchase treatments takes some incentives. You cannot use your latitudes discount in conjunction with the port day specials.

These are the Signature Spa Treatments listed below from my recent Breakaway cruise which are usually the only treatments discounts can be applied to for Port days only. I did not find the daily spa specials on this cruise that great except for the $30 off for the Bliss Triple Oxygen Facial which I tried to book as soon as I saw it but all the booking slots were taken. The spa manager did extend the discount for me to get this facial the following day which was a sea day. I did not addionally get my small discount for Silver only the $30.

Unfortunately, the discount is not good on run of the mill services like swedish, hot stone, etc :(. Nor is it good for spa passes. I suppose the spa is busy enough that they dont need to discount their bread and butter services.

Last month the last port day had a 50 minute swedish for $90.

On my Feb. 2014 Breakaway sailing I was not able to stack my Platinum discount with port day specials. You either book a signature service (as noted above) and get the Platinum discount OR book a port day special rate. Would be nice though if we could combine, lol!

In addition I find treatments are less rushed and we have received extra time gratis on several occasions.
