2FromTN Posted May 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2005 We'll be in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan in mid June and I was wondering if anybody had some advise for any good hiking trails that are close to the port. I'm looking for something that can be done in 2 or 3 hours. Thanks, Steve
wolfie11 Posted May 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2005 Juneau - trail at Mendenhall Glacier (east loop), west loop (not at visitor center) or hiking from the tram.
Budget Queen Posted May 7, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2005 Plenty of trails to consider. Request each port's visitor guide. In Ketchikan there is the Deer Mt. trail walkable from downtown. Mt. Roberts from Juneau, East Loop at Mendenhall as mentioned.
