Laundry Packages on Ocean Princess?

We will be taking our first Princess Cruise in September on the Ocean Princess. Can anyone tell me if Princess offer "laundry packages" similar to those offered on HAL.

Sometimes. And when they do, it's $20 for however much you can fit into that paper bag. Roll it; more goes in that way.

On our Sapphire cruise to Hawaii in April (12) , the room steward told us that the $20 laundry package was discontinued fleet wide in early 2012.

Just complete 15 cruises and then on your very next cruise and every one thereafter you will receive free next day laundry and drycleaning from Princess.

 

I live from one cruise to the next now with free laundry, I always arrive on board with several suitcases of dirty laundry and leave the ship with clean.

Its the best Elite perk.

He was mistaken, because the Diamond had the offer in mid May.

HAL offers a "all you can stuff in the cloth bag" option available all the time. Princess has self-serve laundries on every ship and most ships have one on every deck. They sometimes offer a special for $20 but not always. It may or may not be offered on your cruise. It's usually offered on longer cruises, not as often on short or 7-day cruises. (The two that responded that it was offered were on longer cruises.) The Princess laundry bags are flimsy paper, not cloth so you can't stuff as much in them.
