Is an excursion to Taku Lodge worth the $300 fee and what's the possibility to see a bear or 2 there??

 

It is a very scenic flight, food is excellent, and maybe a bear sighting.

Our travel agent and friend's husband said this was the best thing he had ever done and they have traveled the world. It was the first thing we booked for our trip this July.

We did this last year on our Golden Princess cruise. It was amazing - we were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day. Flying over the glaciers and mountains was worth every penny to me! We even saw a mountain goat on the side of a mountain. The meal was delicious, and the bonus was the 3 bears that were at the lodge! We loved it and plan on doing it again on one of future cruises.
