Tipping on excursions

I wondered if there is a standard tip amount for excursions? A percentage maybe? If the excursion includes transportation from the port, do you tip the driver AND the guide or just the lead person in hopes that it will be pooled?

I plan on taking $5 & $10 bills for tipping the drivers and guides. That way I can give it to them individually. The guide that spends the entire day with us will probably get 2 $10's Better service = better tip But if a driver just drops us off at the location he would get a $5

I only tip if I like them for carnival excursions .. but believe me both the driver and the guy who leads you will have their hands out to get those tips.

I have also tipped $20 on a excursion thru Victor Bodden that only cost me $25 .. it was terrific.
