check in time in NYC

What time does the pier in NYC open for check-in? We are going to be there early. Thanks

NCL says check-in starts at noon and they suggest that people don't arrive before 11am. We will be there at 11am. So we leave our Hotel at 10:30am.

I always get there about 10:30, it seems to be the perfect time to go, and your going to be one of the first on the ship.

Noon? 11am?

 

Last year and this year we arrived and parked by 10:00am, everything was open when we got down from the parking deck by 10:10. We were checked in by 10:30am.

We dropped luggage at 9am once, but that was at street level, not the parking deck. Asked the porter at the curb (our taxi dropped us off across the street, didn't want to deal with the traffic), was no problem.

I don't know if that is normal, taking luggage at 9am.

We got there at 9:30 last year and had to wait until 10 to be able to park in the lot. We were one of the first people to check in. We also got on board earlier then I thought.

 

We leave next Sunday and we plan on getting there again at 10

Totally agree...11 am is good timing..we are on the Aug 11 Gem and it is the same day as the Triathalon....so traffic may be plenty!!
