Are all the muster stations inside on Oasis? We are in JS 9242.

No, not all muster stations are inside. Many are, but those cabins that are near or aft from the main elevator bank are held in the Aqua Theatre.

 

I would guess that JS 9242 is inside, based on its location on the deck plans. However, since it is pretty much mid ship, it looks like it could be a toss up.:D

Do they make you wear the life jackets? I have read that now on some ships they are not required.

Life jackets are not required at muster drills on any of RCI's ships. Many other lines have dropped the requirement as well.:)

We actually headed down about 5 minutes early. The staff will already be there with their devices to check you in. We just wanted to make sure that we had a good seat :)

Right after the muster drill there is a sail away party with the dreamworks characters that is good for families with smaller kids in the aqua theater.
