Best sailaway spot on Ruby??

Anybody know a great place to watch sailaway? Yes we can sit on our extended balcony, however we would then miss the people watching. :o

A top deck bar would be great, but very distracting if there are loud obnoxious people who have had too much to drink:eek:. Also which side port or starboard. Please recommend:D

TIA!

I presume this is from Ft. Lauderdale, yes? If so, then I recommend being up on top of the bridge, assuming it's open. Go through the doors all the way forward on Lido Deck. Fantastic view, and you'll have a bird's ear seat for the ship's horn salute to those beachside condos.

I also like the Tradewinds bar -- on deck 16, above the Neptune pool. Good views of the sea and good people-watching of the activities at the pool. A quieter sailaway spot would be Outrigger's bar, aft overlooking the Terrace pool. We had great views of New York from there on a sailaway from Brooklyn.

We love the aft bar overlooking the Terrace Pool. :D

Also Skywalkers, there are 2 doors on either side aft that you can stand outside.

Agree 100%, we enjoyed the sail away here, with a nice drink, watching Ft Lauderdale disappear in the back ground, on a 16 day TA. Love it.
