Room service question

I see the full dining room menu is available via room service during the hours that the MDR is open for dinner, as opposed to just the standard "anytime" menu of burgers, sandwiches, etc. That's very cool. Does the same apply at lunch time, or only dinner? Does anyone have or know of a link to the room service menu(s)?

You can get the lunch menu during regular mdr lunch hours...Lunch for lunch, dinner for dinner.

Hmmmm.... I didn't realize this. Is this true for all cabins? It sounds like a nice alternative to the formal nights. A romatic dinner on our balcony. :) Perfect! How do you know the menu? Do you have to go downstairs to view it and then call room service or will it be posted on the in room television as well?

I just walked in during the off hours and piked one up and took it back to the room with me for breakfast. The dinner has a partially constant menu but the second page changes so you would just need to check in on the night you were interested in rooming in. Lunch is only served on sea days.

The basic room service menus are found in 3 places:

1. Breakfast room service order form (door hang tag)

2. Information booklet in cabin

3. Interactive TV room service system

I have copies of all of these from our March 2012 Equinox cruise on our photos site here: Celebrity Cruise Room Service Breakfast Menu Aqua Class from Celebrity Equinox - March 2012

When we did it, we called the room steward and he brought us a menu...then waited for our order....then brought it all at once.

Was great after a long port day.

Yep, the only drawback is they bring everything at once and it was our room steward that had to deliver it. But we did it one night on formal night and had a lobster dinner on the balcony. Also tipped $10 because I felt so bad they had to go get it.

enjoy,

Duane
