Is Adventure Ocean Open Embarkation Night

We will be leaving soon on the Enchantment of the Seas out of Baltimore. Does anyone know if Adventure Ocean will be open embarkation night? We are traveling with a 4, 8 & 12 year old and would like to make Chops reservations for the first night but only if we know that the kids will be able to go to Adventure Ocean. Thanks.

Whenever we have taken the grandkids AO is not open the first night. They do registration and tours.

Same experience here. First night is for registration and is important for the kids to meet others but cannot be left there.

Unfortunately this is my only complaint about the kids program. Our kids hate the dining room and would rather be in the kids program. They should just open it up the first night IMO. What's the big deal about letting one employee man the desk to sign up people?
