Can you imagine what a thorn in folks' sides I was during 16 yrs on the local school board??

 

 

Oh, heaven help the other board members, lol!

 

Just kidding :D - and I wanted to say "no hard feelings" - it was a somewhat heated debate, but sort of fun for me. :)

 

Also a nice reminder that I am truly greatful for what I have and that even though it has it's minor flaws and quirks, I still think this is a great country.

dave - good to know there's one constant in the world.. you and me on opposite sides of an issue.. *L* and last I checked, Ruth's doesn't serve bfast.. but does that mean the places I mentioned can't TRAIN their staff to do a decent job?

 

Sure they can, but they'll have to pay them a lot more and, of course, your bill will go up to match.

 

And I've been paying bills in restaurants for 45 years but can't remember a suggested tip in the US ever being less than 15%...
