Trip insurance - timing the purchase

I made my deposit for my cruise a few months ago. I would like to make the final payment, buy my airline tickets and buy a pre-cruise hotel stay. I would like to pay for all of this in the next few weeks. With CSA or other common travel policies can I make my final cruise payment and purchase my airline tickets prior to buying the insurance so I can give the insurance all the details?

We use Travelex, and we purchase the insurance within 21 days after making the initial deposit (you know what the cruise cost is then). After air and hotel purchases are made we increase the amount of insurance by that amount. I do it on line and it has never been an issue. I'm not familiar with CSA's policies but with Travelex, they cover all pre-existing conditions if you insure during the 21 day window of time.

I usually do not pick up my insurance until I make the final payment. I lose out on the cancel for any reason option but if I cancel before final payment it has not cost me an insurance premium
