cb at sea Posted August 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2012 And, no real need for a day pass to go to the beach! There are chair/umbrella rentals all along the beach...restrooms, bar/restaurants....you really don't need a hotel to have a great beach day in GC! MindTheGap1918 Posted August 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2012 There are beach clubs where you can rent beach chairs, buy food/drinks, use restrooms, etc. Try Tiki Beach, Royal Palms, or Calico Jack's.
ODECCIT Posted August 14, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Not available on GC. You're wrong. The Reef on east end and Beach Club Colony Hotel and Dive Resort on 7 Mile have all inclusive option.

For the day or if you stay there? The Reef is a little far for cruisers to venture to spend the day, if so. Wouldn't really be worth it. Plus the taxi fare would be astronomical. Plus the taxi fare would be astronomical. You can take a bus for $2CI to Colonial, but you'll have to check with them if they rent you a room for a day all inclusive. Good luck finding the Beach Club Colony. This is being erected where the BCC once stood. ;) While the Marriott and the Reef Resort do offer an all-inclusive option for their stay-over guests, they do not offer it as a day-pass option.
bookbabe Posted August 14, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Sorry, ODECCIT, you're way out of date. As TurtleTagger said, Beach Club Colony is a distant memory. However, if you've got an extra few million lying around, you could buy one of the WaterColours condos that are being built in that spot... It's too bad...it was a good little hotel in a great location, although their food was only okay. marshhawk Posted August 19, 2012 #12 Share Posted August 19, 2012 Marriot used to offer a day pass, they do that to build up business after hurricanes, Right now they are not offering it. Too bad, it's nice to be someplace that you at least "know".
