Rum Point ferry from Hyatt?

Sorry if my answer was confusing. I thought the person was asking about the main hotel since that is where the ferry leaves from. Yes, the beach side hotel is open, but the main hotel across the street isn't and won't be for quite some time. That might affect when they start running the ferry, since it leaves from there.

We caught a taxi right out in front of the Hyatt. I don't know why that poster had to catch a bus?? There are taxis lined up next door at the Colony, which is packed to the gills with cruisers. If you don't see a taxi at the Hyatt, the Colony is right next door.

We were there at the end of March, the beach side of the hotel is open, and they are offering day passes to cruisers. We had a very peaceful, uncrowded day there.

We didn't see a ferry at all.

Can you compare the Hyatt beach with Rum Point? I first heard Rum Point wasn't very crowded, but now I'm seeing posts where it is. We are going in Sept. and were planning on Rum Point, but would we be just as good off to go to the Hyatt beach? What is included in the day pass for cruisers? Thanks in advance.

We will be there in Nov. and would like to visit Rum Point, but don't want to drive. Would LOVE it if the ferry would be running. If not, would the Hyatt beach be as good?

fopjustice, We are also from Oklahoma. What part of the state are you from?
