Afternoon tea ,speakers,etc?

Is afternoon tea served on RCI? Are there guest speakers on various topics (excluding shore excursions & shopping) on longer cruises? Are there string quartets?

 

Asking this question because I'm accustomed to HAL & Princess and want to know what to expect on RCI beforehand so as not to be a complainer afterwards.

 

BTW, I certainly can lower my expectations but prefer to be informed.

You can probably get hot tea somewhere,maybe room service or the windjammer. TA'S would probably have the talks you asked about and some Alaska cruises which talk about the environment.

Panama Canal cruises feature talks as do Hawaii cruises. There is a snack time in the buffet between about 3-5 PM. No "tea time" tho you can get tea there and in the Cafe Promenade, if there is one on your ship. On some cruises there are string combos.

If you are wondering if Royal has anything like Princess' tea and lecturers-the answer is a definite no. However, Celebrity does have similar afternoon tea and the lecture programs.
