Fridges on Explorer

Are there actual mini fridges in the rooms on Explorer or are they the usual hotel room ones, like with the slots for the mini bar items (like water and soda). Am I making any sense?? :confused:

There are mini fridges in every stateroom on Explorer. I did see some of the slot type fridges on Rhapsody last June, but I don't think they are like that fleet wide. The fridges are usually filled with extra cost items like soda and water.

Yes, but they are almost worthless. Hardly keeps anything cold.

They are more of a "cooler" than a fridge. You can have your room steward take everything out if you want to use it for your own things.

Unless something has changed, they are "dorm-style" cubes....usually inside a cabinet....if you can keep the cabinet door ajar for air-flow, they cool just fine!
