T. Advisor King Posted August 18, 2012 #51 Share Posted August 18, 2012 No wooden wheels with the knobby things anymore... Just a little joystick and a computer screen. Shhh ... you're going to spoil my fun. My next answer was going to be "the cash tips that other passengers seem to leave all over the Lido deck"
lgbteacher Posted August 18, 2012 #52 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I always get a $10 t-shirt and a $10 watch. Big spender:D! My husband started collecting the globe paper weights made from gemstones that you get in the jewelry shop. I think he has them in all the colors now.:)
dezertcruzer Posted August 18, 2012 #53 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I have a mug from every ship I've been on. It makes a nice collection. However, my very favorite souvenier ever was my waiter on my first cruise in 1995 on the Carnival Fascination. We've now been married more than 15 years! I collect the mugs, not the waiters! LOL! sweetcurves Posted August 18, 2012 #54 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Cruise virgin here but I intend on picking up a keychain from the ship and one from each of my ports as well. Small, inexpensive souvenir that doesn't take up a lot of space at home (or in luggage for that matter) but can easily remind me of all the great places I've been. wecamp Posted August 18, 2012 #58 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Christmas ornament, fridge magnet, and a koozie. Those are the 3 things I look at wherever we travel. And my kids get me those items when they travel. I have all 3 from the ship and at least 1 from each port.

lbow2006 Posted August 18, 2012 #62 Share Posted August 18, 2012 We're planning on magnets and Christmas ornaments from all of our vacations. So far we've managed to (mostly) do that (we kind of turned an item into a Christmas Ornament from London, lol).
valancy1 Posted August 18, 2012 Author #63 Share Posted August 18, 2012 I get so disappointed that I forget about Christmas ornaments! That is a nice way to remember our trips--both on cruises and to National Parks!
GraNanny Posted August 18, 2012 #64 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Christmas ornaments. Been collecting them on ever vacation since about 1973. My tree is a real trip down memory lane!
foilman2002 Posted August 18, 2012 #65 Share Posted August 18, 2012 My wife collects keychains from the ship and all ports and anywhere else we go. She also gets mugs from the ships. I collect embroidered patches, which are now getting hard to find, so we look for substitutes such as decals, or other things that can be put on a board for display. LOVECRUISING100% Posted August 18, 2012 #68 Share Posted August 18, 2012 When we cruise, we always pick up something from the ship. The one thing I never miss is a magnet of the ship we're sailing. This year, we're cruising the Valor again (2nd time in a row). The dilemma is whether or not to get a second Valor magnet. I am leaning toward "YES". I put them in a line on our fridge. What is the souvenir you come home with from your Carnival cruises? I always pick up magnets, shot glasses & t-shirts from the different ports
