Wow! That's a tiny tub! But thanks so much for showing us this way!

Wonder what the S6 tubs look like. They are a different shape.

But Hey!!!! A tub is a tub is a tub!!! You should just be thankful to even have something to sit in!!! You could be standing up the whole time!!! We will make sure we take a picture of our tub in the 2 bed 2 bath Haven suite and try to post it on here when we get back on 6/2/2013....

Also someone earlier today had mentioned that the courtyard roof was enclosed, yes it can be, but it can also be opened, which is wonderful depending on the weather.

Good One!!! :D:D

And if anyone has the M6 cabin 8122 booked before 6/09, beg, borrow, or steal a couple of loungers for me!

Hey seabird,I m in that room 5/26. I guarantee there will be lounge chairs when I'm in it.I'll talk to the cabin steward and let him know to keep them there.:)

Ok. I usually studiously avoid these debates. But I simply do not understand why a non smoker who is bothered by smoke would choose to dine in a smoking area, and then complain to both the staff and the smoker if someone actually smoked in the smoking designated area. And I don't understand the reference to smokers doing the classy and courteous thing by going elsewhere when they already are In a smoking permitted area. Those comments portend a sense of entitlement that a non smoker believes he or she should be able to go and do whatever he or she pleases wherever he or she pleases, and everyone else should clear out of the way. If you do not like smoke, and the waterfront is smoking permissible, then ask for a table inside. If you do smoke, confine your smoking to areas in which it s permitted. Why is that so hard?

I concur!

I agree with you 100%. I am a prior smoker (I quit in 2001) and am now on oxygen 24 hours because of it. We have been on over 30 cruises and NCL(16) is our number one choice. I have had to leave the casino in other ships because someone sat down next to me at a black jack table and lit up a cigarette. 99% of the time if smokers come over and see me with the oxygen they will either not light up or stand back away and only come back when it is their turn. I have even had casino managers who have asked that smokers not light up when I am at their table(if I was there first) because of my oxygen. I will not sit down at a table if there is a smoker there. I do not expect people to not light up around me as I am willing to leave if they do and I have before.

When we were on the EPIC we had heard nightmare stories about the smoke and when we were on there in 04/2011 we had no problem at all.

So I think different people handle things differently and to each their own.

Just be respectful and the world will get along.

Bingo! Some people want to receive 100% respect but yet refuse to show the same common courtesy. Just be sure you stay out of the way when you see the same classy, considerate passengers stealing lounge chairs from the open decks. Or better yet....as they try to prance into the elevator with a lounger, light a cigarette and blow smoke in their face, that ought make their day!:D

I believe that is the tub from the 2 bed 2 bath Haven suite in the picture. Looks smaller than other ships, but then again, can't really confirm without knowing the actual size of the man lol..

Yeah, and I'd venture to say that he isn't a terribly tall gentleman, either :D...which means if you're over 5-10 or 6', you definitely ain't gettin' in that tub. And its so small that if you filled it and were able to sit in it, you'd probably displace half the water!

JoeSki I hope you leave your relocated lounger long enough to come to the meet and greet. You are hilarious.

Smoking is NOT permitted in elevators. I have not read that moving a lounger is similarly restricted... ;)

I am a non-smoker, though fully accept it as part of virtually all casinos, NCL included. Regarding the smoking (assuming it's going to be permitted) in the waterfront dining area, I'd guess that most non-smokers do not care to sit near someone who is smoking. I know that we fall into that category. It is unfortunate that this new concept of cruise ship dining can't be enjoyed equally by smokers and non-smokers, as the latter's experience may be negatively impacted by the fact that smoking is permitted. Yes, non-smokers are free to dine inside. They're also free to dine outside as long as they don't mind second hand smoke.

It is what it is, and it's NCL's call.

Personally I would never smoke beside someone eating and I doubt Ncl would allow it. They should just have a small smoking area beside one of the bars so anyone who wants to smoke can just walk over to that area

I was actually referring to not only spa reviews but to the ship in general. Definitely NOT thrilled about what I hear regarding smoke smell, not only in the casino itself (which is a given) but the fact that evidently it can be smelled throughout the atrium area. I think I also came across complaints of smoking in the Waterfront area. I did not think this was allowed, and even if it is I am really angered that smokers would have the balls to light up in that area. So, if true, then that cancels out the 2 main public areas for us as far as walking or otherwise hanging out. Great.

Agreed!! It really should not be allowed as they are serving food there. The last thing I want to do is smell that when I'm having dinner. :(

Most smokers are considerate. It's the ones who suggest blowing smoke in the face of non-smokers who give smokers, in general, a negative image.

I'm not sure how anyone here got the opposite impression in this hypothetical discussion, but NCL policy prohibits smoking "near outdoor areas which serve food," so no one should expect to encounter smokers on the Waterfront dining area.

I feel the same way.. Here we are all fighting over something we actually don't know the details of yet! I would assume (and we all know what they say about the word "assume") that smoking would be allowed at the waterfront bars only, not near the food service areas.. This would be typical of NCL - the "Cigar Bar" is usually the outside bar.. For goodness sakes people, stop preaching!!!!

Regarding the smoking issue...the Breakaway was in Europe for those reports, not sure of the ratio of European to American for those sailings, but Europeans have a much different viewpoint on smoking, they tend to be heavier smokers (in Munich, I actually watched people smoke WHILE eating...yuck!) It may not be as big an issue on the NY itineraries. I'm a non-smoker, but I won't make any assumptions. I will wait and see for myself.

Please post some photos of the cabin when you get back. Enjoy! :)

Smoke in the casino was only an issue for me when someone at my table was smoking. Away from the smoking tables, there is no issue, and I am sensitive to smoke.

The Atrium is not near the casino and was definitely NOT affected by smoke.

The Waterfront is outdoors and I think smoking is permitted in some areas, although I didn't see anyone smoke. But the Waterfront wasn't used much due to weather.
