Which Ship with 6 year old

We are planning on going to Alaska and was wondering who would have the best kids club for our 6 year old. We will be sailing out of Seattle and our option are NCL Pearl and Princess Star. Disney is way out of our price range. Any input you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Between those two ships, absolutely Princess. You want to consider HAL; HAL was the favorite vacation ever for two of my children.

Thanks I looked at Holland and no round trip that I could find. So Princess hands down

I've sailed Princess twice and NCL twice to Alaska. They were both great. No complaints. Princess ships are prettier though. They have the indoor pool- which is a big plus.. although on NCL they heated the outdoor pools. The cabins are larger on Princess than NCL.

I would go with Princess. They have one of the best children's programs plus they do a terrific job sailing Alaska.

We sailed Princess to Alaska (out of Vancouver) and both of my kids loved it! They were 10 and (almost) 4 at the time. I was very impressed with the kids program as the activities were Alaska-themed and the day that we sailed in Glacier Bay there was a park ranger in the kids area talking to them at their level about what they were seeing.
